Welcome to terms and conditions page. We are delighted you have found your way here and hope that you find its content entertaining and uplifting.
Before you carry on, please note that if you are young or for any reason not supposed to be on this website you must have your parent or guardian’s permission before using it. If you don’t then it is pretty naughty and it is best if you close this website now. Thank you.
These Terms and Conditions cover your use of this website (“website”) and your relationship with the build it workshop (“the build it workshop”, “we” or “us”) and any bookings you make with us. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions then we think it is best that you do not access or use anymore. If you have any questions about these then please do get in touch.
Workshop Booking (includes Priority Booking and Waiting lists)
the build it workshop offers a selection of children’s construction activities, including Workshop, Holiday Camps and Birthday Parties (“Workshops”). Workshop materials, teachers and the content of the course content may be subject to change from time to time.
To book a workshop you must be the child’s parent or legal guardian. To book, please use the online booking form on the website. Workshops are term based and you must book for the full term. We do not offer trial Workshops. Only the named child at the time of booking may attend Workshops.
Priority Booking will be given to existing children on our terms. They will have the opportunity to re-sign on the same workshop for the next term before workshop bookings are open to the general public. You will be emailed closer to the time with this information.
When our Workshops are fully booked we will offer you a place in our other Workshops. If these do not suit then we will offer to place you on our waiting lists. These places are offered on a first come, first served basis and these dates are taken from email correspondence.
Workshops are payable in advance. Confirmation of a booking, including Workshop location and time will be sent once payment is received.
Cancelation and Make-Ups
Workshops may be cancelled by the build it workshop. Workshops dates and/or venues may also change at any time. If such changes are required, the build it workshop will provide an alternative venue or offer a refund for the workshop missed due to this change. the build it workshop shall have no further liability whatsoever.
If a child misses a Workshop we offer one Make-Up Workshop per term. It is your responsibility to inform us via the website that you would like to be placed on the Make-Up Workshop list. Make-Up Workshops are subject to availability and limited to 10 children. We offer a 4 week cancelation policy (starting from when you ask to cancel). Should you wish to cancel a term for any reason this must be done via email.
All parties must be booked via the booking form on the website. Additional terms and conditions may apply. Fees and Payment for Workshop Parties will be discussed at the time of booking but these bookings will require a non-refundable deposit.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will apply to the use of this website or any bookings made after we have posted new terms to the website. If you use this website or make any bookings after the date on which any new changes come into effect this will indicate your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.
You may not reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial or any other purpose any of the materials or content on this website without our written permission from the build it workshop limited.
We cannot guarantee that this website will meet all your service requirements or that it will have 100% up time. We may need to take the website offline for maintenance or repair or because we have done something silly. If you do encounter a problem with this website please do report it and we will do all we can to correct it as soon as we can. You can email us on
We will not be responsible for any error or inaccuracy in any advertising and/or sponsorship material that may be inserted on the website.
Liability and Insurance
the build it workshop has in force Public Liability Insurance at all times.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to you where such loss or damage is not reasonably foreseeable to you and us at the point at which you agree to these Terms (including where the loss or damage results from our breach of these Terms). Loss or damage will be reasonably foreseeable where it could be contemplated by you and us. We will also not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to you where you are not entering into these terms as a consumer. the build it workshop will not be responsible for any of you belongings either before during our after your workshop. We advise that all these belonging be kept with you at all times. These include but are not limited to prams, buggies, bags, clothing etc. the build it workshops total liability will be limited to the total fees paid in respect of the relevant Workshop.
All intellectual property rights including copyright existing in any files of any type or other materials created or supplied by the build it workshop or any of its other sister companies to the children are owned by the build it workshop.
